Amazon's Echo Lineup Now Supports Apple iCloud Calendar Accounts
Amazon has recently announced that its Echo lineup of smart home devices now support Apple’s iCloud calendar accounts.
Adding support for Apple’s calendar service was a “top requested” feature according to Amazon.
To link your iCloud calendar, head to the Settings section of the Amazon Alexa app. You can then ask Alexa what is on your calendar for the day or add events with a voice command.
The feature is available in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany.
With the addition of iCloud, the smart home device now supports five calendar services – GSuite, Gmail, Office 365 commercial accounts, and Outlook.com and other related accounts including Hotmail.com
Announced earlier this month, the newest device in the lineup – the Echo Show – can be preordered now and will hit the market June 26. The $229 device features a 7-inch touchscreen and video calling.
The newest smart home device from Amazon - the Echo Show - arrives later this month.
