Canary Camera App Gains New Controls for Video Recording, Alerts
The companion app for the Canary line of home security cameras has added a number of new features with a new update to version 2.15.0.
To help further customize recording, users can now set their Canary to record all motion, record only people, or not to record at all.
And motion alerts can be configured for all motion or people only.
Finally, users can also configure they away mode and select what is recorded and what alerts they can receive.
The Canary app is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
Back in March, the company introduced a new pricing structure for camera’s purchased directly from its site.
Currently, Canary offers three different camera options – the View, Flex, and All in One.
And when purchasing a 1-year or 2-year membership, buyers will receive a substantial discount on the camera of their choice. A Canary membership offers a number of additional features length videos, unlimited video downloads, desktop streaming, and more.
So for example, with a two-year membership purchase of $199.99, you can snag a View for free. The camera itself is usually $99.
