Expect to see new Beats headphone models at the special “iPhone 7” media event next week on Wednesday, Sept. 7. An email mistakenly sent out by the Beats PR team says that new models will be unveiled on the same day. It was first reported on by igen.fr.

Lending credence to the email’s authenticity, the site removed the email at the request of Beats.

As you probably have heard by now, the “iPhone 7” is expected to be without the ubiquitous 3.5mm headphone jack. Along with a possible Lightning adapter for wired headphones, music fans will need to use Bluetooth headphones or options with a Lightning plug.

It’s unknown what audio options Apple will bundle in with the handset. Rumors have speculated a Lightning set of wired EarPods or even a completely wireless set of earbuds Apple has apparently been developing.
