Apple, LG Partner on New UltraFine 4K and 5K Displays

Designed for the new MacBook Pros, Apple has partnered with LG for a pair of new monitors boasting some high-resolution specs – the UltraFine 4K and 5K Displays.

Stereo speakers, microphone, and webcam are built into the UltraFine 5K Display.

The 4K display, which retails for $699.95 and ships is 5-6 weeks, is 21 inches and sports a 4096-by-2304 resolution. It uses Thunderbolt 3 technology.

The included USB-C cables brings 60W of charging power to a compatible MacBook. You can take advantage of three USB-C ports on the monitor itself. Stereo speakers are built in.

Arriving in December and costing $1,299.95, the 5K monitor is 27 inches and boasts a 5120-by-2880 resolution. It also features three USB-C ports.

Built into the monitor are stereo speakers, microphone, and webcam. It can also charge your laptop when connected.
