Apple Music Officially Launches in Facebook Messenger
Apple Music has officially landed on the huge Facebook Messenger platform. First noticed by Engadget, the feature seems to be rolling out to all users and may not visible to everyone just yet.
Extensions officially arrived on Messenger in April.
When available, just tap the add icon to the left of the chat box to add Apple Music to your conversations. You can also search for Apple Music from the homescreen of Messenger.
The chatbot will suggest new artists and different music genres. Interestingly, you can even send a specific emoji and the bot will suggest a matching playlist
Non-subscribers can listen to and share 30-second clips. Apple Music subscribers can listen to and share the full song.
Extensions arrived in Messenger in April. Larger competitor Spotify also has a similar service to Apple Music on the chat platform.
