In a surprise, Apple has just released iOS 9.3.4 to the general public. It’s available to download over-the-air or though iTunes.
The release notes state that the software offers an “important security update” for the iPhone and iPad. Reportedly, the software fixes a security exploit used by the Pangu jailbreak in iOS 9.3.3.
This is likely the last update to iOS 9 as iOS 10 is currently in beta testing and widely expected to be released early next month.
