Apple Releases iOS and iPadOS 13.4 to the Public
Apple has just officially released iOS and iPadOS 13.4. You can update an iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
iCloud Folder Sharing and More
The headlining feature of the new software is for iPad. All tablet users can now take advantage of support for Bluetooth mice and trackpads.
Most apps will work with the functionality. On the iPad screen, the cursor will be shown as a small dot and will adapt to the content on the screen. When not in use, the cursor will disappear.
Anyone with a trackpad can use a number of multi-touch gestures just like on a Mac. For example, you can use three fingers to switch between spaces and pinch to zoom in.
First promised in 2019, iCloud folder sharing is now available for users to share information.
Another welcome tweak is with the toolbar in the Mail app. Apple has move the Delete and Reply icons to opposite ends of the toolbar. Previously, both the icons were side by side, causing some users to accidentally delete an e-mail.
Memoji fans will also be happy to hear that there are nine new sticker options.
