Just a day after releasing iOS 11.0.1 to the public, Apple has seeded new beta versions of iOS, watchOS, and tvOS to registered developers. The first beta of iOS 11.1, watchOS 4.1, and tvOS 11.1 are available over-the-air or through Apple’s Developer Center.
We’ll keep you updated with any new features found in the new software. On the iOS side, the new beta doesn’t offer any new forward-facing features.
For Apple Watch users, watchOS 4.1 does bring streaming support for Apple Music and iCloud Music Library. There is also a new Radio app for the wearable device that can play Beats 1 or any other live Apple Radio station.
Here’s more from the release notes:
Music Streaming and the new Radio app
With watchOS 4.1, you can stream music, giving you access to any song from Apple Music or your iCloud Music Library, straight from the wrist. The new Radio app also gives you access to Beats 1 live or any Apple Music radio station while away from your phone or Wi-Fi. And you can use Siri as your personal DJ. Just raise your wrist and ask Siri to play anything from Reggaeton hits to Top 40 tracks to French Garage Rock.
