Apple Seeds iOS 10.2.1 Beta 3 to Registered Developers
Apple has just released iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 to registered developers. It can be downloaded now over-the-air or through Apple’s Developer Center.
A minor update
In the release notes, Apple didn’t mention any new features, so the software more than likely offers behind-the-scenes improvements and other minor bug fixes. But we will let you know if we find any notable changes.
While this update looks to be minor, the next release is shaping up to be interesting – at least according to a recent rumor. Well-known Apple blogger Sonny Dickson said last week that iOS 10.3 will be sporting a new feature called “Theatre Mode.” It could be similar to the dark mode in macOS.
Apple also released two other beta versions of software – watchOS 3.1.3 beta 2 and tvOS 10.1.1 beta 2. Like on the iOS side, both of those updates offer minor changes.
