Camera+ 2.0 for the iPad Arrives with More Editing Tools and Apple Pencil Support
Camera+ is easily my favorite third-party photo app for the iPhone. But the iPad version has languished without an update for more than two years, even as Apple has improved the camera technology on the tablet line.
Ready for the tablet
Thankfully, that has changed as version 2.0 of Camera+ for the tablet has just landed. Along with a new look similar to the iPhone version, the app now features The Lab – a comprehensive suite of photo editing tools.
New Apple Pencil support allows users to brush on selected filters for fine and precise control. The app also offers full multitasking support for compatible iPads.
Welcome to The Lab
The Lab can help you create that perfect shot. Some of the different tools available include Clarity Pro, Sharpen, Blur, Vignette, and others.
Edit and more
Along with being able to take advantage of the Apple Pencil, iPad users can also multitask using the app.
Wrap-up
The new version of Camera+ for iPad can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
Just last month, the iPhone/iPod touch version of the app received a big update featuring a slow shutter mode and other improvements. It can be downloaded now for $2.99.
While the iPad continues to become a more popular way to capture photos and videos, Camera+ is a great way to take advantage of powerful and well-designed image editing tool. Apple Pencil support also brings another level of usefulness not found in Apple’s stock Photos app.
