As CES 2018 continues in Las Vegas this week, lets take a look at even more new smart home products compatible with Apple’s HomeKit.
Fibaro The Button
Another option to control HomeKit devices without an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, is a newly announced The Button from Fibaro.
The Button is battery powered is doesn’t need a gateway, hub, or bridge to use. Along with being able to be mounted on a wall, it can also be placed on any tabletop. Users can customize up to three different actions with a single click, double click, and long press.
An optional audible confirmation will also let users know that the operation was completed.
Buyers can select from a red, white, or black version of The Button. It will arrives in the first quarter of 2018. No pricing was announced.
Nanoleaf Square Panels
Nanoleaf has been particularly busy at this year’s CES. Along with a remote that offers 12 different programmable sides, the company has also unveiled new square-shaped light panels.
According to CNET, each panel will be touch sensitive and allow users to adjust the brightness, color, and more.
Pricing and availability weren’t announced.
Netgear Arlo Baby
Netgear also announced that the Arlo Baby camera is now HomeKit compatible. Originally arriving last year, the camera is designed for parents to help keep watch over younger children.
Along with HD video, parents can listen and talk to their child with two-way audio. The camera also monitors the temperature, humidity, and air condition in the room. The camera also plays built-in lullabies and act as a multi-colored night light.
Seven days of free cloud storage is also included.
You can purchase Arlo Baby now for $231.99.
The iDevices Instinct is looking to take the place of a number of different smart home devices, including an Amazon Echo.
Along with a smart light switch, the device features an ambient light sensor and motion detector.
But the big draw is the built-in Alexa control. It will also be compatible with HomeKit and Google Assistant.
No exact availability or pricing was announced as iDevices only stated the light switch will arrive in 2018.
