Dawn of Titans Is a Larger-Than-Life Action Strategy Game
Developed by NaturalMotion, the Zynga-owned studio behind CSR Racing and Clumsy Ninja, Dawn of Titans is an action strategy game in which players lead Titans into battle with vast armies of soldiers. To that end, players build their kingdoms and raid and capture those of other players. Amazing graphics and effects help immerse players into the game’s breathtaking, if forbidding, world of wonder and warfare.
In Dawn of Titans, players must build their own kingdoms by upgrading structures and lands. At the same time, they must recruit and train troops with which to defend their territories against attackers and to invade neighboring territories. And as they progress, so as to further expand their domains, they also have to take part in battles with the help of the Titans.
Build
Dawn of Titans lets players become rulers of their own kingdoms. As such, they can increase their structures and broaden their lands. In addition, they can raid and capture enemy territories using their invading troops.
Battle
Dawn of Titans has players engaging in battles to extend the reach of their empires. To emerge victorious, they have to recruit, train, equip, and control thousands of warrior troops.
Become larger than life
To help in the conquest of battles, Dawn of Titans lets players enlist the aid of the titular larger-than-life beings. The Titans, who take the form of human-like entities of various sizes and genders and who possess different skills and attributes, belong to five factions: Human, Unak, Elithen, Mossmane, and Ragnar. Players can unlock more advanced Titans by earning experience points in battle and upgrade Titans through power fusion.
Dawn of Titans is noted for spending close to two years in soft-launch mode. While that might suggest that serious issues were encountered during the game’s prerelease stages, we’d like to believe that it had more to do with the developer’s desire to put out a truly exceptional action strategy game — which is immediately apparent in the grand scale of Dawn of Titans in terms of both graphics and gameplay.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Dawn of Titans is available now on the App Store for free, with in-app purchases offered for in-game currency.
