Google's Home Max Wireless Speaker is Now On Sale
While Apple’s HomePod has been delayed until sometime in 2018, Google’s similar speaker – the Home Max – is now avaialble to purchase for $399.
The multiroom Wi-Fi speaker is 20 times more powerful than the smaller Google Home.
Along with two 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers, the Smart Sound feature uses AI to adjust the sound quality depending on where the speaker is placed in the room.
Like other smart speakers, users can converse with Google Assistant to find out answers to questions, play music, control smart home devices, and more. Users can also place handsfree calls to most phone numbers in the United States and Canada.
The speaker itself can be placed in both a horizontal or vertical orientation.
Available in two different colors – black or white – you order the speaker directly from Google and other outlets including Best Buy. Buyers will receive 12 months of ad-free YouTube music with their purchase.
