Instagram's Explore Feature Adding Location and Hashtag Stories
Two notable new features are coming to Instagram’s Explore tab – location and hashtag stories.
You can search for any location around the world and see different images.
After hitting the Explore tab, you’ll now notice a story ring with events near you. They will be made up of images and videos that sport location stickers.
You can also search for specific location anywhere around the work and see a story ring for that particular place at the top of the location page.
When searching for hashtags, you’ll also soon see stories related to your specific interests.
Location stories is now available on version 10.22. Hastag stories will be rolling out over the coming weeks.
Just last week, the popular photo-sharing social network added a trio of new features – selfie filters, hashtag stories, and the capability to capture video that can be played in reverse.
Instagram can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. It’s designed for the iPhone/iPod touch.
