Report: Apple Could Announce New Products as Soon as Next Week
The wait could almost be over. New Apple products could be announced as early as next week – between Monday, March 20 and Friday, March 24. That’s according to a new report from MacRumors.
A slate of new iPads?
That information comes from “reputable supply chain analysts” who wanted to remain anonymous. While the firm believes new products will be announced soon, they didn’t indicate anything specific.
More than likely, Apple could unveil three new iPad models – an all-new 10.5-inch iPad along with new versions of the tablet with a 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch.
Of those, the 10.5-inch model definitely seems to be the most intriguing as it reportedly will have slim or no bezels and lacking a home button. That will allow the larger screen to fit in the same footprint of the current 9.7-inch model. It could also mirror the expected changes in the next-generation “iPhone 8.”
With an announcement possible next week, Apple could be sending out media invitations soon.
