Two More Television Series Head Into Production for Apple
Apple is continuing its push into TV as Variety has reported this week on two new television series recently ordered by the company.
Most recently reported is a documentary series entitled “Home.” Here’s more from Variety:
The series will offer viewers a never-before-seen look inside the world’s most extraordinary homes, and delves into the minds of the people who built them. Apple has ordered 10, one-hour episodes of the new series.
Earlier this week, the same publication reported on a new Apple ordered drama based on the book “Are You Sleeping.” Octavia Spencer is staring in what’s being called a physiological drama while Reese Witherspoon is a producer.
Witherspoon is also staring with Jennifer Aniston in another Apple series in a drama about the world of morning TV.
Another TV series in production from Apple include a sci-fi series from “Battlestar Galactica” developer Ronald D. Moore. Finally, Steven Speilberg and Bryan Fuller are helming a reboot of “Amazing Stoies.”
It’s unknown when any of the series will premier.
