Webzen’s Strategy-MMO First Hero Arrives on Mobile

June 28, 2019

What would it be like if King Arthur was at war with D’Artagnan? Who would have the upper hand in a battle of wits between Suleyman I and Abraham Lincoln? It’s fun to play fantasy historical war, and First Hero lets you do just that.

Webzen’s latest strategy MMO is like Clash of Clans crossed with Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. It sees you joining various military figures from all around the world – past, present, and future – as you set out to conquer the globe.

Each of the heroes on offer comes with their own unique skills, strengths, and weaknesses, so you’ll have to apply plenty of strategic nous as you build your perfect historical, trans-chronological army of badasses.

First Hero is an MMO, so you’ll have plenty of company – some friendly, most not. The game world is carved up into domains, with you striving to conquer and control as much territory as possible.

Thankfully, you can do this alongside allies, joining forces with other alliance members to extend your military reach and crush your enemies.

There’s a huge number of historical heroes to collect, equip, and upgrade, but that’s just part of the game. You also need to manage your base. That means upgrading your castle and other building types, as well as recruiting and training units and that good city-building stuff.

But, let’s face it, the real action is on the battlefield. Here you’ll use your best tactics, heroes, and weapons to turn the tide of war in your favor and expand your ever-growing territory (or get crushed by your opponent, if you’re not up to snuff).

It’s all about developing your own impenetrable strategy and then racking up the ranking points, which you get from PvP, Domain Conquest, Arena, Expedition, and Alliance Domain Conquest.

And if you need a break from the multiplayer carnage you can always jump into the Adventure mode for some highly lucrative single-player action. Plus, you can chat with other players, bonding over your love of all-out war.

First Hero is available to download for free right now on the App Store and Google Play.
