Along with a peek at the interface, YouTube also mentioned some of the app features:

For a more cinematic look, we made the background dark on your TVs.
A new Live guide made for your big screen so you can get a sneak-peek at what’s airing soon.
Never miss the action with our background playback experience built for your big screen.
Easily pick up where you left off on another device when you get home.
The $35 per month service is available in all of the top 50 metro areas in the United States, covering two-thirds of the population.
You can watch 48 live channels including the big four broadcast networks – ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox – along with a number of other popular choices like ESPN, USA, FX, and others. Showtime and Fox Soccer Plus can be purchased for an additional fee.
Along with unlimited cloud DVR for no charge, up to six accounts per household can be created so pretty much everyone watch what they are looking for.
