Find Out Whether Marsh Is Innocent Or Guilty In Freedom Fall For iOS
Freedom Fall ($1.99) by Stirfire Studios is a fast-paced down-scrolling platform game.
Marsh finds himself stuck in a huge tower. He has to make his way past all of the spikes and blades to escape. During his journey, he learns that all is not what it seems.
What’s the real story behind Marsh, the princess, and the mystical tower?
As soon as you start playing this game, you’ll notice how beautifully designed it is. Freedom Fall is both a game and a fairy-tale. As you make your way down the tower, you can read the story of Marsh and the mysterious princess on the walls. The further you progress, the more you learn.
Controlling Marsh can be a bit tricky. Tapping the left side of the screen makes him move left, and the right side makes him go right. To jump, you tap on either the bottom-left part of the screen, or both the right and left sides at the same time. Although the controls were confusing to begin with, I got used to them quickly.
As you make your way down the tower, you have to jump, slide, and glide past various obstacles. Make sure you read everything you see on the way down, as they help you make better decisions. Eventually, you come across various tools and power-ups that help you survive for longer.
I found the gameplay alone to be quite fun, but the story and how it unfolds makes this app much more entertaining. After getting through a few levels, you’ll really want to know how the story ends. There are 36 levels to get through before you complete the game and find out.
Freedom Fall is challenging enough, but not too difficult. It’s a great title that anyone can pick up and start enjoying for a few minutes at a time.
As you might be able to tell, I like this app and think it’s worth checking out. Although the controls could have been better, the gameplay and story made up for it.
You can get Freedom Fall for both the iPhone and iPad for $1.99 in the App Store.
