Use Zombies To Create The Tallest Hill Ever In Zombie Hills For iPhone
Zombie Hills ($0.99) by LFC Multimedia is a zombie-themed game with a unique spin.
Yes, I know we’re all sick of zombie-themed games, but this one is actually unique. Each zombie you kill in this game becomes part of a hill that you can use to your advantage.
You start as a lone survivor in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but your axe. Zombies start to appear from everywhere and you have to destroy them before they hurt you. When a zombie dies, the ground below it expands to form part of a hill. You can then use the hills to increase your chances of survival.
Every now and again, a box with a weapon inside it falls from the sky. The weapon could be a machete, baseball bat, or gun. These weapons are much more powerful than your axe, so you should try to pick them up whenever you can.
The touch controls aren’t very fun to use at all. On the left side of the screen, a touch joystick lets you move from left to right. On the right side there’s an attack joystick and a jump button. The attack joystick is for both attacking and aiming, and it’s quite difficult to use accurately.
Your task is to survive for as long as you can, kill more zombies, and use them to create the tallest possible hills. If you achieve a score you’re proud of, you can share it with friends or save it to your photo library.
Although Zombie Hills was quite fun to begin with, it started to feel repetitive quite quickly. After a few rounds of zombie destroying action, I got tired of using the awkward controls and gave up. The graphics used in Zombie Hills aren’t bad, but they aren’t very impressive either.
In a world where there are so many zombie-themed games, this one isn’t quite good enough to stand out. For better options, I’d recommend Dead On Sight or World War Z.
You can get Zombie Hills for iPhone for $0.99 in the App Store.
