The free app lets you shoot a short video clip, or choose one from your library, then add effects to it. These videos can then be posted for others to see using different social networking sites. Bose AM/FM provides users with easy access to local radio stations, and can even suggest alternate stations when your favorites aren't available. Now, iPhone and iPod touch owners can access the service's library of user created mix tapes on the go, on their iOS device. Key features of the application include the ability to listen to curated music playlists, and follow the DJs you like the most. You can search for playlists - or "mix tapes" - by artist, and also by tags (such as "rock," "jazz," etc.). Additionally, a "Featured" section provides playlists by big brands - like Rolling Stone magazine. It uses the latest technology to show the current temperature right on the home screen. Apple is notorious for not letting apps operate outside their guidelines, and this is especially true when it comes to the functionality of iOS. So how have the developers beaten the system? Capcom just released a new Resident Evil game for the iPhone earlier today that should excite fans of the series. The most unique addition to NAVIGON MobileNavigator through this update is the Reality Scanner. Navigon's Reality Scanner is an augmented reality point of interest browser. For those unaware, augmented reality is the manner of placing virtual objects amongst real objects. In this case, hold your iPhone as if it were binoculars. As you pan around, nearby POIs will be displayed in relevance to their actual location, similar to the Monocle feature of Yelp. Now, users of the app can enjoy added support for third party browsers - such as Atomic Web Browser - and other apps, like PasteBot and Instapaper.
