Scribblenauts Remix Gets Remixed For The Holidays
December 2, 2012
Scribblenauts Remix, the emergent puzzle action game from Warner Bros., has received another update.
If nothing else, the new update further upholds Scribblenauts Remix's reputation as one of the most "seasonally aware" games in the App Store — along with Angry Birds Seasons, of course.
Last February, Scribblenauts Remix got all pinked up for Valentine's Day. Then, in time for Easter, the game brought in the Easter bunny itself. Then, it went "back to school" last August.
And for the past couple of months, Scribblenauts Remix received its Halloween- and Thanksgiving-themed updates. But in honor of the yuletide season, it has been made the default playground.
Unsurprisingly, this month, the game is getting decked up for the Christmas season.
The latest version of Scribblenauts Remix features a holiday icon and a holiday playground.
Actually, the holiday playground is not a new addition to Scribblenauts Remix. It has long been available in the playground selection screen, which also includes the regular, Valentine's, Easter, classroom, Halloween, and Thanksgiving playgrounds.
The newly updated Scribblenauts Remix also features a new Goodie & Baddies avatar pack. Or should I say, Naughty & Nice avatar pack?
Available in-app for $0.99, the new pack contains nine avatars: fighter pilot, hero, heroine, highwayman, prisoner, sheriff, villain, thief, and ice cream man.
Scribblenauts Remix is available in the App Store for $0.99. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. As it happens, the new version of the game also includes increased stability on the first-generation iPad, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch.
