Netflix has just updated its free universal iOS app, adding a new "post-play" feature and making a number of improvements to its second screen options. The updated application, version 4.1, can be downloaded now in the App Store free of charge.
With Netflix 4.1's new "post-play" feature, when users watch a TV show in the Netflix app, the next episode will automatically play once the current episode has finished. Furthermore, when watching movies, the three best movie recommendations will now be displayed after users have reached the end of the movie currently being watched.
In addition to the above, the updated Netflix application includes improved second screen options.
As a reminder, Netflix 4.0, which appeared in the App Store last month, added a brand new episode selector tool for the iPad version of the application, along with a redesigned audio and subtitle selector for the universal app.
Netflix 4.1 for iOS is available to download in the App Store free of charge.
