Pudding Monsters Goes Sky-High As It Goes Free For First Time Ever
May 16, 2013
The delicious puzzle game Pudding Monsters just keeps getting better and better as the title characters strive to get bigger and bigger.
The game, which was released by Cut the Rope creator ZeptoLab to much acclaim last December, got its first content update last February. That update saw the Pudding Monsters hitting the city.
This time, the game has received its second content update, which sees the Pudding Monsters hitting the skies. Well, sort of.
As the game's story goes, the Pudding Monsters' friend, Cherry, is still missing, having been kidnapped by the angry (or is it hungry?) fridge owner. But with the new update, dubbed Sky View, they now stand a better chance at seeing where Cherry could be hiding as they get to grow and reach higher into the sky.

Sky View brings 25 new levels where you can take advantage of a brand new monster and a new gameplay element.
The new monster comes in the formidable form of Mr. Powerlifter Monster, which can help the Pudding Monsters move mountains and cities out of the way. And the new gameplay element is the traffic cone, which you can use to split monsters apart in order to collect more stars.
The new, Sky View-filled version of Pudding Monsters is available now in the App Store.
Pudding Monsters for iPhone and Pudding Monsters HD for iPad are both normally priced at $1.99. But from now through May 22, both editions of Pudding Monsters are free to download on account of Apple's App of the Week promotion.
So, if you haven't played Pudding Monsters, you're in luck as you can now try and play this former AppAdvice Game of the Week for free.
