Modern Combat 4's 'Meltdown' Update Will Hit The App Store This Week

June 17, 2013
Gameloft has just posted a video teasing this week’s update to Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. The “Meltdown” update will hit the App Store on Wednesday, June 19. Click here if you can’t see the video. Along with two new game modes, the update will feature three new maps – fracture, extraction, and backfire. The update will also add a pair of new weapons, the SFS CTK-12, a special forces sniper rifle, and the 40mm Thor Grenade Launcher Pistol. A new demolition specialization will also be added. If you want to download the game before the update, it can be purchased in the App Store for $6.99. It is a universal title designed for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. Earlier this month, Gameloft also revealed the first trailer for the next game in the series, Modern Combat 5. And if the trailer is any indication, it definitely looks to be a must-play game when it hits the App Store.
