Social Media Suggests Ive More Popular Than Cook During WWDC 2013 Keynote

Despite his absence from the stage during Apple's recent WWDC 2013 keynote, "Senior Vice President of Design" Jony Ive was nevertheless the subject of a large number of social media mentions. Attracting more online mentions than even Apple CEO Tim Cook, who appeared on stage at the beginning, end, and at points throughout the keynote, Ive was discussed in some 28,377 social media posts.
Cook, by comparison, was the subject of 20,919 comments posted to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and elsewhere. What's more, the analysis of WWDC 2013's social media (posted by Viralheat and shared by Fortune) indicates that Ive also received more positive and less negative comments than Cook, as outlined in the above image.
Interest in Ive most likely stems from his purported involvement in the redesign of Apple's mobile operating system. Though the so-called "rising star" of software engineering Craig Federighi introduced iOS 7 last week, news reports circulating online over the course of the last few months have indicated that Ive's influence, in particular, has resulted in the new "flat" look applied to the mobile OS.
As such, does the abundance of positive comments concerning Ive suggest that Twitterholics and Facebook fans are generally impressed with what iOS 7 has to offer?
