Ever-Evolving Email App Evomail Updated With New Settings

July 26, 2013
Just a week after its last major update, the modern mobile email app Evomail evolves once again with another notable update. Last week, the former AppAdvice App of the Week received an update that brought support for Yahoo and iCloud (in addition to Gmail) as well as the ability to attach files directly from Dropbox and Box. That update also delivered speed improvements and introduced a snooze feature that returns selected emails at a later time or date. This time, the app's new update most notably offers all settings in one convenient place. Just open your account drawer in the app and choose Settings in the bottom right corner to access all of the settings. The Settings section includes the following new settings, as outlined by the Evomail team:
  • Upload your own avatar!
  • Sort conversations in descending order!
  • Share Evomail with your friends (we'd love it if you would do this! :D )
  • Default to "Always Reply-All"
  • "Name" your email accounts in the Account drawer
  • Hide the Bulk Edit bar
  • Forget what something does? Replay the tutorial!
Also including bug fixes and general stability improvements, the new version of Evomail is available now in the App Store. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Evomail was launched as a $2.99 iPad app early last May. But it has been available to download for free since it went universal with iPhone and iPod touch compatibility last month. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
