Google Drive For iOS Updated With Option To Open Links In Chrome Or Safari

The official iOS client of Google Drive has just been updated to version 1.5, thereby gaining a couple of new features along with the obligatory stabilization and bug fixes.
Most notably, Google Drive 1.5 now offers the option to open links either in Chrome or in Safari when links are clicked from within files. Of course, Google would prefer that you open links in Chrome — and use its apps whenever applicable, for that matter.
Chrome itself was updated just a week ago with interoperability with other Google apps, allowing users to open links directly in YouTube, Google Maps, Google+, and Google Drive. Also, Gmail for iOS was updated last May with the ability to open links directly in YouTube, Google Maps, and Chrome.
Going back to the new Google Drive update: the other new feature it brings is the ability to insert rows and columns using the "+" button in spreadsheets.
Google Drive 1.5 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
The app's previous two major updates arrived in April and June. The former update brought landscape editing on iPhone and faster loading with support for quicker editing. The latter update, for its part, added support for swiping through images and support for viewing, creating, resolving, and replying to comments in files.
