Hey Hey, Kids! Can You Rebuild Krustyland In The Simpsons: Tapped Out?

August 1, 2013
Hey hey, kids! And by "kids," I mean fans and soon-to-be fans of The Simpsons: Tapped Out. You see, the wildly popular freemium simulation gamed based on "The Simpsons" and developed by Electronic Arts (EA) has received another content update, and a certain mischievous character needs your help. The latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out dares you to rebuild the cartoon theme park of Herschel Shmoikel Pinchas Yerucham Krustofsky, better known as Krusty the Clown:
Hey hey, kids! Krusty is reopening Krustyland and he needs a sucker… err “employee”, who is willing to rebuild it, for free and with little thanks.
In the new version of The Simpsons: Tapped Out, you can now develop your very own Krustyland and raise your Krust-O-Meter to attract more visitors while you're at it. And to help you entertain your visitors, you can tap Itchy, Scratchy, and the short-lived Poochie as your mascots. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In addition, the newly updated The Simpsons: Tapped Out features rides, games, and quests galore:
  • Rides and Games: Take visitors on a once-in-a-lifetime ride with the nauseating Death Drop, keep dentists in business with the Tooth Chipper, defy the laws of gravity on Mt. Krustmore, and much more. With over 40 rides and games available, your park is sure to be a success!
  • Quests: Will Krustyland be a lucrative enterprise or will Krusty’s profits plummet faster than the Death Drop? Will Lisa’s romantic interlude last more than a few missions? Will Bart’s desire for danger result in theme park carnage? Update now and find out.
The new version of The Simpsons: Tapped Out is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. Launched in March last year and relaunched the following August, The Simpsons: Tapped Out was one of EA's top-grossing mobile games for the previous quarter, along with Real Racing 3 and The Sims FreePlay. In fact, the previous quarter was the best quarter so far for the game. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
