How To Restore PlexConnect Following Apple TV's Latest Update

Phew. Though Apple broke the popular PlexConnect hack in its latest Apple TV update, one simple workaround shows users how the service can be restored in under a few minutes.
Put together by Paul Kehrer (@reaperhulk) and made possible thanks to the Apple Configurator app, the fix also requires that users have a micro-USB cable in order to connect their set-top box to a Mac (or PC, using the iPhone Configuration Utility). Full instructions on the process can be found at Kehrer's website.
As a reminder, PlexConnect allows Apple TV users to stream content from a Mac or iDevice to their set-top box with ease. It first launched a few months ago, and has since become a popular hack for Apple TV owners.
