Phew. Though Apple broke the popular PlexConnect hack in its latest Apple TV update, one simple workaround shows users how the service can be restored in under a few minutes. Put together by Paul Kehrer (@reaperhulk) and made possible thanks to the Apple Configurator app, the fix also requires that users have a micro-USB cable in order to connect their set-top box to a Mac (or PC, using the iPhone Configuration Utility). Full instructions on the process can be found at Kehrer's website. As a reminder, PlexConnect allows Apple TV users to stream content from a Mac or iDevice to their set-top box with ease. It first launched a few months ago, and has since become a popular hack for Apple TV owners. For full instructions on bringing PlexConnect back to life, head over to Kehrer's website.
