'Jobs' Movie Starring Ashton Kutcher Gets New 'American Legend' Trailer
August 7, 2013
Just over a week before its debut in international cinemas, "Jobs" has gotten its second official full trailer.
The new trailer, which runs for a minute and a half, is titled "American Legend," as it invites moviegoers to "Experience the launch of an American legend."
The American legend in question is, of course, the title character, the late Apple CEO and cofounder Steve Jobs, who is played by Ashton Kutcher.
As you can see in the video embedded below, "American Legend" shows a few never-before-seen clips along with clips that we've already seen elsewhere, from the movie's first full trailer, Instagram teaser, and behind-the-scenes featurette.

Unlike previous promotional videos, though, the new trailer includes pull-quotes from reviews across various publications and websites. Presumably, these reviews are the mostly positive ones among those that were published following the film's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival last January.
Directed by Joshua Michael Stern from a screenplay by Matt Whiteley, “Jobs” is set to premiere internationally on Aug. 16. The biopic also stars Josh Gad as Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak with Dermot Mulroney and Matthew Modine as former Apple CEOs Mike Markkula and John Sculley, respectively.
Last week, an extended clip from "Jobs" was released, showing the movie's treatment of how Jobs and Woz came up with the now famous fruity name of the company they cofounded.
