Pop-Up Tengami Reportedly Delayed, But 'Definitely Coming Out This Year'

Tengami is an iOS app worth getting excited about, but unfortunately the game - which offers iDevice owners an interactive "pop-up" world available to explore - has recently been delayed. That being said, while the application isn't set to grace the App Store this summer, the game, which is more than three years in the making, will "definitely come out this year," according to designer and co-founder Jennifer Schneidereit. Though little is known about the app, its attractive, minimalistic graphics and interesting gameplay have rendered the adventure game highly anticipated. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Tengami, here's a trailer of the app, which provides something of an idea of what you can expect once the game becomes available.

Schneidereit explains:

While Tengami is definitely coming out this year, we still have a fair amount of work to do and therefore we won't be releasing this summer. We are sorry for making you wait so long, but we have spent almost three years on Tengami now and want to keep working on it until we feel it is ready.

Of course, it's important for developers to ensure that applications are up to standard before releasing them in the App Store, and so in a way, it's good to hear that developer Nyamyam is dedicated to ensuring that Tengami is perfect before making the application available to download.

After all, not every developer is so vigilant.
