Rdio Update Ushers In Personalized Radio Stations

In a major swipe against Pandora, Rdio has just updated its iOS app to introduce a personalized radio station feature.
YouFM, which makes its first appearance in version 2.3 of the app, is designed to a play station made up of favorite and related tracks.
The update also features a number of new and improved stations that can be based on an artist, song, genre, and more.
Finally, with the redesigned stations player, listeners can vote on individual tracks and pivot stations based on favorite songs in a revamped UI that focuses on album art.
Rdio is a universal app for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. To use the app, unlimited plans start at $9.99 per month.
