Apple has launched a new prerelease version of OS X Mavericks for registered developers.
OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 8 includes an updated iTunes 11.1 application, which features a refreshed iOS app organizer. It's also possible to turn off song change notifications, according to 9to5Mac.
Though no release date for OS X Mavericks has been confirmed, iTunes 11.1 is expected to launch alongside iOS 7 on Wednesday, Sept. 18. As a reminder, Apple's new iTunes app allows users to access iTunes Radio on a desktop computer.
Here's hoping we hear more about OS X Mavericks at Apple's anticipated Oct. 15 iPad event.
We'll keep you updated with further information as we receive it.
