Olloclip Camera App Updated With iOS 7 Redesign And Cropping Presets
September 25, 2013
Olloclip has just been updated primarily with a revamped interface based, of course, on the design of the recently launched iOS 7.
Olloclip is the official camera app of the popular three-in-one lens system of the same name. Released just four months ago, the app has been updated to version 2.0.
As mentioned, the app has been updated with a "designed for iOS 7" interface. Unsurprisingly, this new interface features translucent overlays and flatter controls.
And speaking of controls, Olloclip 2.0 lets you swipe the bottom mini-slider to switch between the three shooting modes: video mode, normal mode, and macro mode.
And up top, you'll notice the newly added copping presets. You can use these to fine-tune the borders of your photos when using different Olloclip lenses. You can change or disable these presets in the app's settings menu.
Olloclip 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.1 or later. Note that Olloclip's new look applies to devices on iOS 6 as well as iOS 7.
Olloclip was last updated in July with: one-tap sharing of photos via email, Twitter, Facebook, and other sharing channels; an option to automatically save every photo taken in the app; an improved tutorial for the Mesh Editor tool; and support for using the manual focus and exposure reticles in videos.
