Promising Progress Made On iOS 7 Gold Master Jailbreak, Hacker Claims

One prominent iOS hacker, @planetbeing, has announced that promising progress has been made in the search for an iOS 7-compatible jailbreak.
It's been less than 24 hours since the search for such a jailbreak solution properly commenced, but already the band of iOS hackers known collectively as "evad3rs" has managed to achieve unsigned userland code under iOS 7 GM. As such, evad3rs now has a "good platform" for developing a jailbreak solution, which will ultimately allow iDevice owners to install the Cydia Store app under the seventh iteration of Apple's mobile operating system.
The news hit the Web in a Twitter update from @planetbeing's account, which reads:
Achieved unsigned userland code execution with some of our stuff in reserve. Now we have a good platform for poking the kernel. — planetbeing (@planetbeing) September 11, 2013Of course, this doesn't mean we'll see an iOS 7 jailbreak solution launch in time for next Wednesday; instead, it indicates that so far, the process of searching for an iOS 7-compatible jailbreak is going well for evad3rs. Whether the iPhone 5s and its 64-bit Apple A7 processor pose much of a problem for the team of iOS hackers, however, remains to be seen.
