Readdle's Printer Pro Updated With New Design And New Desktop-Class Features
September 28, 2013
Apple's AirPrint not quite cutting it? Then you'd do well to check out Printer Pro by Readdle, which has just been updated with a new iOS 7-inspired design and, more importantly, new features.
With regard to the app's new design, I'll let Readdle do the describing:
Printer Pro 5 is flat. It’s flatter than your ceiling. All controls are there. It takes just a few taps to adjust your print settings and hit the “Print” button. As for Printer Pro's new features, they offer advanced desktop-class printing options. These options allow you to see the print preview, specify the print range, print multiple pages on a single sheet, and even choose the page size and page orientation. Clearly, Printer Pro's advanced settings are far removed from AirPrint's meager options. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. What's more, Printer Pro has a new PDF printing engine that lets you easily and quickly convert any file into a proper-looking PDF file. Optimized for iOS 7 but nonetheless compatible with iOS 6, the new versions of Printer Pro for iPhone and Printer Pro for iPad are available now in the App Store. Printer Pro for iPhone costs $4.99, while Printer Pro for iPad costs $6.99. Readdle's Printer Pro is deservedly listed as an "essential app" in AppAdvice's Printer Apps AppGuide.
