An interesting multipurpose app, Documents by Readdle, has just made the move up to version 4.3 with the addition of three new features.
First up, the app now sports integration with the Photo Library. All photos are now available in a totally separate folder. Users can copy, open in, or email them directly from the Documents portion of the app.
The update is also highlighted by drag-and-drop capability. Users can move files between folders or to the sidebar folders, including Documents, iCloud, and Dropbox.
Finally, to have quicker access to important work, the new version gives users the ability to star specific files. Users on the iPhone can move files to the Starred folder. To star work on the iPad version, drag-and-drop the file to the sidebar.
Documents by Readdle is a universal app designed for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. You can download it now in the App Store for free.
Starting with version 4.0, which was released earlier this year, the app has been named Documents by Readdle instead of Readdle Docs. The app can definitely come in handy as it can be used as a file manager of documents from third-party sources, a simple document viewer, and surprisingly even a media player.
