Bean's Quest And Time Surfer Developer Kumobius Releases Pivvot-esque Duet Game

October 10, 2013
If you're a fan of the challenging yet entertaining Pivvot, then you're likely to become a fan of the newly released Duet Game as well. Duet is so named because it basically tests your spatial skills in controlling a couple of diametrically opposite dots or "vessels" so that neither of them bumps into any obstacle along their way:
Your survival is dependent on protecting two vessels - they are devices in sync, a dance and song between two entities tethered together in symbiosis. Feel edge of your seat terror where the world around you becomes quiet and numb as all that matters is the game living between your palms -- that is Duet.
If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. To control the vessels' radial movements, just touch either side of your iDevice's screen. But then again, I use "just" rather loosely, since controlling the vessels in order to avoid everything in their path is not as easy as it sounds. Duet features nine chapters with nine musical compositions by Melbourne composer and Gotye multi-instrumentalist Tim Shiel. It also features Game Center integration for achievements and leaderboards as well as iCloud support for syncing your progress across all of your iDevices. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, Duet Game is available now in the App Store for $2.99. Duet Game is brought to us by Kumobius, the same studio behind the acclaimed retro-style platformers Bean's Quest and Time Surfer. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
