With less than a week to go before Apple’s media event on Tuesday, Oct. 22, the company has started the process of decorating the Yerba Buena Center for the Performing Arts in San Francisco.
A MacRumors reader sent in the pictured image of the decorations. It seems to match the design of the invitation sent out to media members earlier this week.
Both the iPad 5 and second-generation iPad mini are expected to be unveiled at the event. The larger tablet will be redesigned for the first time in a few generations. Its smaller form factor will take a number of design cues from the smaller mini but still keep the same 9.7-inch screen.
The iPad mini 2 will apparently sport a Retina display and other internal improvements. Its hardware design is expected to remain the same.
There are also a number of other products expected to be announced at the event. Our own Bryan M. Wolfe has a look OS X Mavericks, the new Mac Pro, and more in a recent story.
The event starts at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday. Stay tuned at AppAdvice, and we’ll post the latest news when we get it.
