The popular stable of Clear to-do apps have just been updated with the addition of a major new feature. For iOS 7 users, both Clear and Clear+ now offer Background Refresh. That allows the app to refresh data throughout the day from iCloud so the most up-to-date list will appear on all of your iOS devices. Developer Realmac Software also said that it’s hard at work coming up with other new features for the apps. Clear+, which is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, can be downloaded now in the App Store for $4.99. Clear, for the iPhone/iPod touch, can be purchased for $1.99. A version for the Mac is also available to download in the Mac App Store. It will set you back $9.99. Along with being a universal app, Clear+ takes advantages of a number of iOS 7 features like the dynamic text function and parallax effect. Realmac originally intended for Clear+ to take the place of the older Clear app. But after strong customer backlash, the developer relented and added the original app back into the App Store. In our review of Clear+ last month, Christine Chan was highly positive of the new iPad-specific features.
