The popular alternative to the official Twitter app, Twitterrific 5, has just received an update adding new profile layouts, an improved pull-to-refresh animation, and much more.
Developer The Iconfactory explains in the app's release notes that a number of enhancements, along with a number of bug fixes, too, have been made in the latest version of Twitterrific.
As a reminder, Twitterrific 5 launched in the App Store almost one year ago, before receiving an iOS 7-optimizing update back in September.
Now, however, several changes have been made in Twitterrific's 5.5.3 update, which reached the App Store earlier today.
These include a new layout for user profiles, an improved pull-to-refresh animation (which sees a Twitterrific bird hatch and fly on the spot for a few seconds, while the feed loads), and several minor enhancements:
However, that's not all. The Iconfactory has also fixed a number of notable bugs in this latest release, and provides information concerning the fixes in the application's release notes:
- New layout for user profiles
- New pull-to-refresh animation
- View profile banners by tapping on them
- Swipe upwards on a photo in the image viewer to dismiss
- Various performance enhancements throughout the app
Finally, Twitterrific 5 can be downloaded for 50 percent off its usual App Store price, for a limited time only. If you've been planning on switching over to The Iconfactory's application, it could therefore be that now is the perfect time.
