Feel the frenzy as you take your Blitzing experience to the next level with a brand new mode in Tetris Blitz.
In what is perhaps its biggest update yet, Tetris Blitz has just gained a new Tournaments Mode. This new mode lets you take on other Blitzers and take on the chance to earn ample coin payouts in limited-time events, each with its unique rules and own leaderboards.
In line with this, the update also itroduces profiles and avatars so that players can create and promote their identities in tournaments. And to keep players abreast of new tournaments and challenges, the update also refreshes the game's news section.

Also including some under-the-hood improvements for a better Blitzing experience and some surprise holiday-themed content, the new version of Tetris Blitz is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
Released last May and subsequently awarded the AppAdvice Game of the Week title, Tetris Blitz is a fast-paced mobile edition of the classic Tetris game. Basically, it challenges you to score as high as you can by stacking and clearing as many tetrimino blocks as you can within only two minutes.
Tetris Blitz received its previous major update early last month. With that update, the game gained a new Tips & Tricks section and offered a new way to collect power-ups.
