Apple Adds ABC, Bloomberg, Crackle And KORTV To Apple TV Channel Lineup
December 11, 2013
Apple has just added not one, not two, not even three, but four new channels to its popular namesake set-top box.
As noted by MacRumors, the new channels that have just been inserted into the ever-expanding channel lineup of Apple TV are Watch ABC, Bloomberg, Crackle, and KORTV.
Watch ABC lets subscribers access live streams from their local ABC affiliates. If you'll recall, ABC became the first U.S. network to offer live video streaming with the launch of its Watch ABC app on iOS last May. Now, ABC has finally made its Watch ABC service available on Apple TV as well.
For its part, Bloomberg has become the first channel to live stream 24/7 business news on Apple TV with the launch of the new Bloomberg channel.
As for the other two additions, the Crackle channel offers movie and TV show streaming content from the eponymous Sony subsidiary, while the new KORTV channel offers Korean video programming.
Just last month, Apple added Yahoo Screen and PBS to Apple TV's channel lineup.
