Evernote has just released an update to its popular image annotation app Skitch.
Version 3.0.5 focuses on adding back features that were previously in the app. Along with PDF reading and markup capability, Web capture also makes a triumphant return.
The update also brings an improved cropping mode.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Skitch can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Users need to be running iOS 7 or later.
The very handy app received a major overhaul back in September with the introduction of version 3.0. That brought an iOS 7 inspired designed along with quicker ways to capture photos and mark them with text, captions, and annotation tools.
To take advantage of the PDF markup feature in the app, users need to have an Evernote Premium account, which can be setup via an in-app purchase in Skitch. There are two different subscription options – $4.99 per month or $44.99 yearly. To see the other premium account features, visit Evernote's site.
