Vert 2 Features Universal Support For iPad, Enhanced Color Themes And More

The well-designed unit conversion app Vert has just gone universal, thanks to its just-released 2.0 update.
Vert was launched three months ago as an app that's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only. Nevertheless, given its being minimal in appearance but not in data, it was hailed by us here at AppAdvice as "the perfect converter."
Now, Vert 2 is here, and it's universal. In other words, the app is now optimized for and natively compatible with iPad as well.
Vert 2 also features a refreshed iPhone UI for iOS 7. In addition, it enhances the existing gold, pink, yellow, blue and green themes and it adds a new orange theme.

Moreover, the update adds the ability to set the app's default category at launch and the ability to return to the previous conversion by swiping left on a category list. Oh, and it also displays the status bar.
Vert 2 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later.
