Lumify Updated With Full Support For Portrait Videos And Other Improvements
January 2, 2014
The highly rated video-editing app Lumify has just received another major update.
The app's previous major update was issued a couple of months ago. With that, Lumify was updated with a new design for iOS 7, 64-bit A7 processor support, and full support for 120fps high frame rate shooting on the iPhone 5s.
For its part, the latest update to Lumify delivers several notable improvements as well. Foremost among these is full support for portrait videos:
By popular demand, portrait videos are no longer cropped by default! Include videos shot in portrait mode in their entirety, or use the zoom tool to crop as much or as little as you want. The update also adds support for trimming videos simply by tapping the start and end times on the player bar. It also features direct video export to WhatsApp and creation of square videos for posting on Instagram. Also including various performance improvements and bug fixes, the new version of Lumify is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later.
