Afterlight Update Brings New Photo-Editing Theme And Other Enhancements

February 8, 2014
The popular photo-editing app Afterlight has just received yet another update, which brings several notable improvements. The update introduces a new light gray theme for editing. You can set your preferred themed in the app's settings section, or you can swipe up or down with two fingers while editing to switch between the two color themes on the fly. The new version of Afterlight also features a white balance lock for the camera mode, an automatic landscape mode for iPhone, and three new wallpapers added to the Wallpaper Pack. Furthermore, the latest update to Afterlight adds an Instagram button on the home page. "Afterlight is now on Instagram at @Afterlightapp," developer Simon Filip notes, "follow and tag #Afterlight and we will feature our favorites." Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Afterlight is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download. Originally called AfterGlow, Afterlight was launched in early November 2012 as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch. It was optimized for iPad and iPad mini as well late last July. Afterlight received its last update three months ago. That update was actually Afterlight's first anniversary update, and it brought a new design for iOS 7 along with other improvements.
