Forget That Other Photo Booth For iPhone Port, Because This Jailbreak Tweak Is Better
Earlier this week, we told you about a Photo Booth for iPhone port that allowed jailbreakers to set up a semi-usable version of the iPad-only app on an iPhone or iPod touch. Now, however, a far better option has surfaced online and is available to download now in the Cydia Store.
Called Photo Booth (iOS 7), the new jailbreak tweak can be downloaded entirely free of charge. Much like the other package, Photo Booth (iOS 7) promises users an iPhone port of Apple's Photo Booth application – but unlike the other package, this one actually works well.
The eight Photo Booth for iPad themes are all available in the iPhone port, and as with the iPad application, users of the jailbreak tweak can snap fun selfies using Photo Booth in conjunction with a funky effect.
Over in the jailbreak tweak's release notes, developer CoolStar explains that the package is “100 percent legal, and 99 percent bug-free.” CoolStar adds that Photo Booth (iOS 7) grabs files from Apple's servers during the install process, and as such the installation “may take a while on slow connections.”
With that mind, you can pick up Photo Booth (iOS 7) in the Cydia Store free of charge. As mentioned, it's optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch, and the jailbreak tweak requires iOS 7.
