Magazine-Like Feed Reader App Ziner Updated To Version 2.1 With New Features

The simple magazine-like feed reader app Ziner has just been updated to version 2.1, just over a couple of weeks after its big 2.0 update.

Released for iPad in January last year, Ziner was updated to version 2.0 earlier this month with universal support for iPhone and iPod touch along with a new design inspired by iOS 7. Perhaps most importantly, though, the app's 2.0 update added support for Feedly as a replacement service for Google Reader, which was discontinued last July.

And now, Ziner's 2.1 update is here, bringing the following new features:

• New app icon
• Add font customization tool: Setting -> Theme. Now you can customize every text in Ziner!
• New tint color for Ziner
• Pull to refresh in list view
• Option to disable image thumbnails. (Setting -> Show image thumbnails)
• Option to disable AirDrop, email, message …
• Scroll down in article view to enter fullscreen
• Full width image/video in article view
• Scroll to next feed/folder in list view
• Long press on a link to share it.
• Email full articles
• Show confirm dialog when mark as read in list view.
• Mark items older than 3 days read
• Support for HTTPS (Setting -> Feedly -> Use HTTPS for Feedly)
• Use Feedly image API to find thumbnails for article
• Add share to Buffer
• Add support for RTL language

The update also includes various bug fixes and improvements.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Ziner 2.1 is available now in the App Store for free.
